The Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST) has awarded a low-interest loan of just under $372,000 to Allensville Municipal Authority for upgrades to the existing slow-sand water filtration plant.  Representative John Hershey (R-Mifflin/Juniata/Franklin) said the Authority “will use the funding to complete several projects, including installing an automated shutoff valve and an emergency generator.”  The loan […]
