A missing teen in Perry County was located earlier this week.  State Police had been searching for 14-year-old Damian Kennedy since November 12th when he ran away from his Mulberry Street home in Newport.  Kennedy was found unharmed and in good health on Sunday.

 

A Lewistown man was has been charged with violating a protection from abuse order after sending messages through social media.  Borough Police served 24-year-old Ridge Rhodes with a PFA order on November 29th at 4:00 pm.  At approximately 7:00 pm the same day, he began sending multiple messages via text and Facebook to the victim and the victim’s daughter in violation of the order.  Rhodes was arrested and placed in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility.

 

Tomorrow marks the 77th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor which prompted America’s entrance into World War II.  On December 7th, 1941, the US Pacific Fleet at Hawaii was attacked by aircraft from the Imperial Japanese Navy.  Join the Pennsylvania Military Museum for a “Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day Tribute,” Friday (December 7th) at 12:45 pm.  The museum is located at 51 Boal Avenue in Boalsburg, three miles east of State College.
