It was just yesterday that we had to adjust our clocks again. I’ve never really been able to wrap my head around daylight savings and all the time shifting associated with it. This past change was the one that where people say we lose an hour of sleep.

I certainly don’t mind losing an hour of sleep. One hour lost is nothing when compared to the restful nights I lost when I started doing the Get Up & Go Show. I usually find five or six hours of sleep to be plentiful so I’m feeling fine today. Though I am fine, many other folks seem to be beat. I guess that lost hour must have been more important to them.

If you’re one of the sleepy people today then you’re in luck. Today is a perfect opportunity to take that hour back. It’s National Napping Day. I quite often take a nap in the afternoon. Mine usually last at least a couple hours. On this day, though, I am making a conscious effort to not nap. Call me a contrarian but I feel as though I had plenty of sleep despite the goofy clock adjustments.

If you are in desperate need of a nap then you’re in luck. Nap away, today’s your day!
