Area roadwork continues this week.  PennDOT says the Route 322 eastbound ramps will be closed at the Burnham interchange beginning today (Monday, June 17th). The closures are scheduled to be in effect for eight days—through June 25th.

During the ramp closures, Route 322 eastbound traffic will continue to the Electric Avenue/522 North interchange. After taking the exit, motorists will keep right onto Ort Valley Road and follow a detour using Valley Street and Electric Avenue to Freedom Avenue before continuing to Burnham. Traffic from Burnham will be required to access Route 322 eastbound from the Electric Avenue/522 North interchange. Motorists will follow a detour using Freedom Avenue to Logan Boulevard to Ort Valley Road to arrive at the interchange.

Single lane closures on Route 322 eastbound remain in effect just after the Reedsville on-ramp and on Route 322 westbound just before the Charles Street on-ramp. Drivers should anticipate delays.

Drivers should continue to expect major traffic delays in Centre County as the Route 322/Potters Mills Gap project continues.

A Marysville woman has been charged with making terroristic threats after a traffic stop late last week in Lewistown.  Borough Police say 55-year-old Terri Kuntz was the operator of a Hyundai SUV that was traveling in the wrong direction on East Market Street early Thursday morning.  As Kuntz was being cited, she told the officers she would have them murdered for pulling her over.  She was arrested and placed in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility.
