Good morning,The Crawford Area Transportation Authority is celebrating a major expansion this morning following a ribbon cutting at its Meadville facilities. The four-million-dollar project at the Rogers Ferry Road facility includes an expanded garage that allows mechanics to safely lift large buses for the first time. CATA officials say the upgrades also provide much-needed office and dispatch space as the agency prepares to expand its service area into Forest County this July.In legal news, a long-running battle over public access to social media has ended. A settlement was approved this week in the Right-to-Know case involving the PENNCREST School Board. The deal concludes nearly five years of litigation following controversial social media posts from 2021. While the settlement involves no exchange of money or disclosure of the records, district officials say changes in leadership paved the way to move on.And in Crawford County Court, testimony is expected to resume today in the trial of Meadville attorney Kevin Burke. A jury heard emotional and conflicting testimony yesterday from the woman accusing Burke of sexual assault at his office last May.
